Special & General Relativity Explained 1/4

9:58
On the Scientific Theories of Special and General Relativity At the beginning of the twentieth century, Albert Einstein revolutionized the way scientists think about space and time. In his special theory of relativity, Einstein showed that time and length are not as absolute as everyday experience would suggest: Moving clocks run slower, and moving objects are shorter. Those are just two of the unusual properties of Einstein's world! Another consequence of special relativity is the most famous formula of all: E=mc², stating that two physical quantities which physicists had defined separately, namely energy and mass, are in fact equivalent. In Einstein's general theory of relativity, space and time become even more flexible. "Your mileage may vary," and so may the time intervals you measure, depending on where and when you are. This flexibility has an analogue in the geometry of surfaces like that of a sphere - there is a curvature of space and time. Distorted space and time influence the way that material objects or light move. In fact, there is a direct connection to the cosmic interaction that holds the universe together, makes the earth orbit the sun and keeps our feet on the ground: gravity. Einstein's theory of space, time and gravity predicts a number of new phenomena. Distortions of the geometry of space should propagate into the depths of space as so-called gravitational waves. If enough mass is concentrated in a given location, the perfect geometrical prison ...

YouTube Explained- PART 1-

5:14
The purpose of these videos are various. Some are informational, a few might be a quick rant, others might hopefully be 'gap bridging.' There has been a ton of drama and rumors, myths etc. on Youtube. Particularly in the Black community on Youtube there's been frustration with feeling like they can't get seen. Because I've been on Youtube for a while, seen a lot of things I wanted to share my thoughts, in depth about a lot of these things. If you are a YouTuber I'm sure you have a great opinion on a least one of these topics. I'd LOVE to see some good video responses from you to help add to the discussion. There's so much more to actually talk about, but this was already long. If you liked the video, please SUBSCRIBE for more! Rubik's Cube: Fridrich F2L explained (PART1/2) [New!]

9:56
LINK TO PART2: ca.youtube.com F2L Tutorial Remade! My attempt at logically explaining exactly how the F2L in the Fridrich method works, so that you will never have to learn the algorithms for it. The method that I explain here is foolproof, meaning that it works every time, but takes a little longer. Placing one corner-edge pair should not take more than about 7 or 8 moves. If some move is taking you longer, it is probably a good idea to brute force learn the algorithm for it. This is however quite rare, so you don't have to worry about it unless you want to go for below 20 seconds or so, full solve.
