The "Notch" you are showing is on teh real gun, and it is a retainer for the lower handguard flat spring....

Also, the upper on a real AKS74U moves side to side, and left to right in order to allow traval for the piston system. Just like the real one.

i finally got this gun just the elongates version, and yes its TM compatible just for some pices, the mag well is different and it wonk fit TM mags for a ak... Thats it
